Philosophy Bubble Bath

An ideal Bubble bath is the one, which has the chemical free ingredients producing rich and persistent foam, readily mix with the bath water and provides moisture to the skin after bath. The commercial bath and skin care products have chemicals, which tend to make the skin dry. Whereas the presence of glycerin gives a soft feeling after the bath. Actually the glycerin is the by product of soap making but the natural soap makers return the glycerin back into the soap or even add more into it through vegetable oils like coconut or other nut oil.

Usually the skin gets dry after bubble bath but if it is well equipped with glycerin as the main ingredient with castile soap will have good effects on skin. It is a humectant i.e. it attracts moisture and makes skin feel soft and silky smooth.

Glycerin is a clear thick liquid that increases moisture and also helps to create bubbles during bubble bath. Glycerin forms the key ingredients for the homemade bubble bath, which is safe and does not have any ill effect like those of the chemicals in usually found in bubble bath. It has been found that glycerin helps convert fats or lipids in the external protective membrane.
